Here is exactly how the money works, in plain English.
Your 10-day review and approval period
- Nothing is charged to apply or to have the consultation
- We design and build the website before you pay anything
- It starts when your first preview is ready, and we confirm the exact deadline in writing
- The website stays on a private preview link and is not published until you approve it
- Decline in writing before the deadline and no payment is taken
- Approve it and the managed service subscription begins on the launch date
If you decide to cancel
- You can cancel the managed service at any time, there is no minimum term
- Hosting and management end at the end of your paid month
- The website then comes offline, as with any hosting subscription
- You owe nothing further
Domains, licences and the things that should be yours
Your domain stays yours
Wherever practicable, your domain should be registered to you, the customer. We will never use your domain as artificial leverage to keep you.
A real agreement
Before we start work you receive a plain-English service summary and the website service agreement, so the commercial terms are agreed before anything is built.
How billing runs
Your first payment is prorated from the subscription start date to the end of that calendar month. After that, £29.99 + VAT is collected automatically on the first day of each month.
Your review deadline and subscription start date are confirmed in writing, and the full service agreement sets out the detail before we start work.
